چکیده

Aim: The objective of the present study was to evaluate femoral notch type, width index (NWI), angle (NA) and α in patients with ACL injury compare nonathletic male population, using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).Methods: 79 complete tear 80 as control group (aged 19-43 years) who had knee MRI were evaluated. NWI, NA measurements shape evaluated on axial fat-saturated proton-weighted sequences. Femoral classified A, U W types. Results: A statistically significant association found between (p<0,001). Type ACL-injured (79.75 %) significantly higher than (24%). NWI lower (0.249 ± 0.020 vs 0.281 0.022) Notch (47.15 º 5.63 50.73 5.44º). stenotic type (p <0,001). but it not different (41.9 ±2.79 ºvs 42.06 ±2.53 º; p= 0.978).Conclusion: This showed that however low values are a risk factor for injury, strongest predictive A. no correlation injury.
